indeed there is this constant fight of the ever emerging light and the perennial darkness
alternation of day and night is but a metaphor for what has to happen so that we stay alive and pure

it is interesting how the night sky seems so magically blue
a blue that is so full of life
and the red and the yellow seem to be blown beneath it by the rising sun
like tides of waters that cannot be accounted for nor controlled

if i look at it long i see a human shape
i see the head and the open arms and the body coming out of the source of light and heat
the rest is long hair (centre upper part) and a cape (tied to the arms and stretching to the left margin) covering everything and about to cover even more
so that finally the black in the plain and hills turns into all the colours of grass and flowers and trees and the various creatures that find shelter there
