There is something wrong with the image quality here..maybe over-compressed. But as an image it has a beautiful soft feel to it. I love the dreamy far-away look in the man`s eyes.
No, Mike, it`s not overcompressed. I worked a little bit with PS here to hide a slight lack of sharpness which occured due to the fact that this image was captured im promptu, in a common room with subdued lights. It`s not a studio picture, and you cannot work with bulbs and so on then. I liked that expression of his, too. And it seemed a pitty to loose it while arranging lights 
The expression and body language of the man, the relaxed posture of the cat eloquently portrays a feeling without words being necessary. Very nice.

out of focus and overprocessed by some photoshop-tools. I wish
