My interest in photography began when I was a kid and used to help my dad, who was a photographer, in his home laboratory. As a professional, I worked for a while making books of photografic models, taking photography courses at CESC Pompeia, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
I work with 35mm cameras, a Nikon FE10, Nikkor Zoom 35~70 mm 1:3.5~4.8 lens, Vivitar Macro 100 mm 1:3.5 lens, matched macro adaptor 1:1, Vivitar tele converter 2x-3, Зенит 12XP camera, Гелиос 58 mm 1:2 lens, Kenko close-up no. 4, Frata ring flash.
At the moment I am preparing a book and a CD-ROM of orchids of Minas Gerais State, in Brazil, to be published within a few months, in Portuguese and English, with my photographs.
I can read Russian (Я читал русского).
